I tell you what VP. Why don't you give me one example in favour of the "TRNC" that does not violate Human Rights and Democratic Rights of all Cypriots in Cyprus, because I can't come up with one, so why don't you show us how smart you are, and just give us ONE and stop asking others to do the impossible.

Firstly you try to clean up your lies (about my repeating what your brother in law said) then I will gladly respond.

Trying to buy some time are you.??

I can see where you would need time for you to answer my question VP.!!

Your childish and immature handicap shines through like a ray of light, you obviously don't know that its impolite and classless to answer a question with a question...try answering before asking and you shall receive your answer...viva la TRNC.

I already answered your question regarding this post which was "I can't come up with one", so now it's your turn.

Your other question was on another post away from this one, so why are you mixing the two. I will answer your other question, as soon as I have some time.

No no no Zan, I'm talking about a man who bought a lot of GC land at £20 a donum and said they were worth £3,000 per donum now, as well as living in a GC house. Everything he told me regarding GC land, how the the AP was voted on the plan only and not for peace, the "TRNC" tells the world what they want to hear, but in reality they want partition and so on and so on. Funny enough, at the time you and VP made him out to be "Roger the Rabbit" that he did not exist, but as time went by, VP grew bolder and repeated everything what the cousin's husband said. Again Zan, I did not attack or accuse any TC refugees living in GC homes, but rather the Partitionist, who would at all cost would see the island divided permanently, and to my thinking, it was not so much about security, but rather it was all about MONEY.

Prove it, or are you telling porkies yet again.

You sink even deeper by continuing to lie, ho look suprise suprise same thread but of course you will twist turn squirm and try to worm your way out yet again.

More lies about me asking you your own question, how can you be answering a question that you asked me as if I was asking you?? then boldly saying you cannot find an answer.

Jesus VP, you can't even take couple of minutes to read my response correctly before jumping at the first sign that I may have made a mistake, so that you can say...I gotcha....Sorry to disappoint you my good fellow, but I'm not that easy for you to get.!!

All forum members take note how this person twists turns and squirms trying to deflect attention from answering questions, when challenged about his lies.

Keep worming Mr Greek Cypriot.

Deniz and semantics:

"I am merely pointing out that the word itself is like a red rag. TCs will see it as the majoriy - GCs - RULE over the TCs. "

If the word was changed to majority government would that be more palatable? Is this an objections that comes from some other root and not connected to the system, constitution or other factor but a historic/cultural thing? We were all "ruled" by the British at some point and the TCs were not particularly bothered.

At some point, no matter what kind of solution is chosen, there will be majority rule-government-administration call it what you will, for the simple reason that there is no other way to do it. When a boring matter like a transport bill is debated it will be approved or rejected by majority vote. So where exactly is the problem in that?

Even if we manage to invent a unique system that does not have majority "rule", as members of the EU, following the Lisbon treaty, we will be subject to EU majority "rule" on things that touch all of us. Is it better then becaue the majority does not contain the G word? Is majority "rule" more acceptable when it derives from a mix of foreigners minus the Greeks?

Yes I did, didnt I. The possibility is that my ancestors could have been from anywhere that I mentioned, but most likely Cypriot with a smuttering of the peoples that I mention. How can one tell, without the DNA profile. We could ask Phoenix, but she might be otherwise occupied (by reading her bed-time books)

Pheonix has given me permission to answer for her, on another thread, in her absence. She asked me to tell you that she is busy at the moment but she will be back soon and she loves you all very much and also said that she was sorry for being such an ass all this time and she was only joking about the Turks. She said to say that she isn't even Greek but a Turkish movie star trying to get publicity for her new film, the Turkish version of "Shrek" called "Esek". It will simultaneously be released in Isreal under the name "Shmuch".

When I told her that I have traced my fathers side to the Russian Steps she said "Pah! It doesn't matter my brother. We are all one people and we should just all live together in two separate states as good neighbours". Then she left but not before telling me that my grandfather must have been an orangoutang.

Orangutan? But she did say 'we are all one?' I can live with that.

I have to stay true to my roots Deniz........The rest of you will have to...to.....to.....to hoo hoo hoo hooo hoooo....do what your conscience allows you to hooohooohooo

Zan, you forgot that you are wearing Phoenix' frock. You have been her 'mouthpiece'. Make up your mind. Thats the problem of having a 'dual' personality. I think you are better off as a 'single entity'.

So that's where my favourite pink flowery dress went

Zan take off my frock right away, and you are dismissed from further duties . . . . .

Big brother is watching and he is glad you are all having a great time insulting each other, but can I remind everyone this is not the point of this thread...

We are supposed to talk about things (events, beliefs, thoughts, actions etc)
that our side has done to contribute to the mess we are in...The logic being that this will help us find the empathy and the compassion for the "other" side, which in turn should help us understand each other's fears and preoccupations better...

Come on everyone. So far only I and Piratis made an attempt to do the exercise. Remember what it was? Start with "It did not help that..." and fill in the gaps as many times as you want...Talking about the mistakes/miscalculations/shortcomings or your own side... This invitation is for everyone, not only the GCs by the way...Such a list prepared by VP and Zan and MR-from-NG for example would make fascinating reading.
Same goes for Sotos,Kifeas,Pyros,Phoenix,GR (is he still alive and kicking?),Pantheman,Boomerang (come on,digger, put on your thinking hat). The impartials like Tim Drayton and Cooperline might like to give us two lists, one for the GCs and one for the TCs...come on,lets do something more constructive than the usual personal insults and character assassinations...Or else, when I finish exposing the TC mistakes/contributions , I will borrow a book from RR Denktash Propaganda School for the Blind library and start putting up all their allegations for people to have a closer look.... :D
You have been warned...Big Brother is still watching...

I read your response regarding the phrase of 'majority rule'. I fully understand what you are saying. The simplistic way of looking at this , is its a 'numbers' game. Makarios began juggling with numbers , which triggered off the events of in 1963. Many TCs will always see this as a stumbling block whenever it comes to decision making. I am trying to see through the mist how we deal with this 'democracy' as defined by the world at large. It boils down to a matter of the 'minority' putting all their trust in the hands of the 'majority'. I dont expect GCs to see the fears of the TCs.
