Friday night! I just got back since bars in this pathetic state close at 2 am. But I guess I should be hitting the sack soon.

Come on guys why are you giving DJ such a hard time??? there are many TCs that think like him and live abroad waiting for the day they can return to a recognized Northern Cyprus with no isolation issues and world support. Those are his opinions and we should respect them like we do with everyone else. If you read his posts carefully he has some very valid points and concerns,(and before you say it im not his lawyer) but anyone who argues partition is not someone who hates their country on the contrary they are willing to divide it so that we no longer aggrivate the other community into taking steps that would cause a reunification to collapse yet again.

When Piratis talks of guns and bombs you all brush it to one side quite lightly and just dont say that you naughty boy, isnt this what caused all the past problems and the cause of the current situation, violence begets violence.

DJ, I had a read your website, and I just want to ask you one question. You seem to place the blame entirely on Greek Cypriots for everything that happened, and that the Turks were blameless. Do you beleive this?

Also, a lot of the website is against the Greeks wanting Enosis with Greece during the period before 1974. I am not sticking up for Enosis (I am pro unification with TC and GC), but I find it hypocritical to say such things when it is followed by comments like these...

"A Turkish Island has been transformed into a Greek island" (refering to the 1960 principle of 70/30 rule)

"We who wish to remain Turkish rather than Cypriot, should have the right to remain so."

The last quote strikes me the most...

"Any normal Nation other than us, would have demanded that Cyprus be returned back to Turkey in 1960, which is still its rightful owner"

Those 3 quotes are from one page alone, http://www.atcanews.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=74&Itemid=1. Ther is a lot more on the site apart from that.

yes and we all know you're one of them. its ok to state an opinion but when you come to this forum to discuss solutions to a problem you cant just state out the solution was achieved in 1974.
