Went to the local shop this morning to buy bread and milk, paid in £’s – got £’s in change… :-(

I'm going to the kafenio later, i'll see what they make of me paying in euros.

Beer was £1 a bottle yesterday, i hope that it's not 2euros today.

Oh Buggar, there is no euro symbol on my keyboard; i'm obsolete already :(

yeah i went to the shop today and i forgot about the euro and had none on me and they said they put euro on the till but i could pay in cyp if i want... i wonder when shops will stop accepting the cyp... but i imagine in major stores they wont accept like electrical stores or maybe supermakets?

Shops will still accept cyprus pounds for another six months but they are supposed to give change in euros.
Also in case any of you worry about the forgotten change you always find on your backpockets no need to worry at all.
I think the central bank will be changing any old banknotes left behind for another 10years or something long like that. Wonder if they'd do that with my kleenex aswell.
