The Greek Cypriots will become minority in their own country

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Bleating sheep . . . suffering from scrapie.

Well the mice have been playing ....

Stout many thanks, but they all know, but choose to ignore the truth which is much worse. They are simpletons who love to overuse the word Racist.

If only it were as natural as racism, this feeling I have for the Turk.

Unfortunately it is borne out of bitter experience and continuing need on my part of civilised acceptance, of what they have done to my country and its people.

The Turks are the very people that commit genocides, wars with neighbours, theft of Lands etc . . . and yet they have the audacity to brand someone who has never harmed another soul, a racist, because of a post placed in neutral text (gender or race) for discussion.
Instead umit07 chose to insult me because he knows I am a woman, hence his greater outrage  and because he can never counter my arguments.

The rest of the Turks with all due respect to sheep, rush in bleating insults because they too have an inability to provide effective discussions.

Well, as I said, it is not racism . . . it is much worse and wholly unnatural, and the only way my view on Turks will ever return to normality, is if they leave my country alone.

Back on topic anyone? :?

If you are so worried about our numbers in Cyprus, why don't you just remove the Turks ? . . . that would go a long way to restoring our continuing majority.

We have left your country...We are now in our own and that is the TRNC/KKTC. You can do what ever you want in your country but I am sure the topic is wrong in it,s statement of you guys ever becoming a minority in your own country....Your racism will always see you through because as history shows...You either murder or make life impossible for the "foreigners" that dare to make something of themselves. They either die or leave and then you blame them for their own downfall, as you call it in propaganda terms. So the idea of you guys ever becoming a minority when Hitlerite people like you exists is pure nonsense. Integration only happens from others to you and never the other way around.

By posting such a comment as you have "umit07", you have done your countrymen a great disservice, we CIVILIZED folk would never dream of spitting into the face of a lady, regardless of what we may think of her personal opinions.
Incidentally, I do believe that there is a rule which stipulates that the language of this forum should be English, you do offer an interpretation, those of us who do not know your lingo have to rely on the integrity of the one making the interpretation.
If you are so base as to suggest spitting in the face of a respected female member of this forum, we could be forgiven if we assumed that your words have other meanings.
Kindly adhere to some standards of respectability and oblige us all.

Hi, Stout. Whereas I agree with your post, dont you think that respect has to be earned.

Let us not forget that we may be dealing with a Mother, I am sure none of us would relish the prospect of our own being subjected to such an affront.
Even the suggestion of such an act is intollerable and I think umit07 should apologize for his insult.

Stout, now YOU are being sexist and dont realise it. In this day of sexual equality, sex does not matter. Our Phoenix is tough and as such will take all she desrves. God help her.

Dear Stout

What I stated is a popular Turkish proverb " Utanacağnı bilsem yüzüne tükürürdüm". It means something like " If you could show remorse I would react".

I did not literally, want to spit in her face.

Some English proverbs for you:

Between the devil and the deep sea
A hungry man is an angry man
Empty vessels make the most noise

Another proverb

It's a little dirty but anyway.

"İnat ile göt s?ken kendi kendi'nin götünü s?ker"

if translated directly

" Whoever who f???'s with stubbornness ends up f???ing himself"

Meaning;

If you are stubborn, in the end your stubbornness will end up damaging yourself.

umit07, if you transpose stubbornness with ignorance, the result will be precisely the same.

GAVCARoCOM wrote:Thanks to EUROPIAN UNION

I don't know if you are a Greek Cypriot, but if you are, well done. It's about time the people of Cyprus woke up to the paradoxical "capitalist with socialist ideas" European Union that seeks to annex all member states to create one big, happy European nation with one culture and one people.

Any country within the EU cannot be a democracy by virtue of their very accession. 75% of the United Kingdom's laws are found to originate in Brussels, created by foreign politicians who we do not know and do not vote for. Cyprus has now lost rule of its own economy, thanks to Papadopoulos. He has made a mug of the people of Cyprus by entering an elitist, anti-democratic, pan-European organisation and signed away sovereignty to its own financial issues without the green light of the Cypriot people, which I find disgusting. Let us learn more about the effects of the failure that is the European single currency.

Cyprus is in dire need of an assiduous, vociferously euroskeptic figure to enlighten the Cypriot people and put an end to the grossly increasing euro-nationalism.

A state has an economy. A state has a police force. A state has an army. A state has a parliamentary, law-making body. The EU, ergo, is a superstate. We will not be able to determine our own national future. The EU hates referenda, because it knows it will be rejected. France and Holland rejected the Constitution, and the only two countries ever to be given a referendum regarding joining the eurozone, that is Sweden and Denmark, rejected single monetary union. Sweden has further purposely tried to circumvent forced entry by not meeting the criteria.

Living in England, I support the UK Independence Party and I will share with you some videos of its leader, Nigel Farage MEP, telling the European Union's corrupt commission a few home truths (very interesting to note José Barroso's silent but telling reaction):

Who's who in the Commission
Confronting Barroso
Confronting Tony Blair
Confronting Angela Merkel on euro-nationalism and her hypocrisy of supporting freedom
UKIP's Jeffrey Titford on the effects of Bulgaria and Romania's accession into the EU
What the European Union is

And finally, we can live within Europe, we can be part of Europe, we can work with Europe - we simply don't want to be ruled by Europe! LET THE PEOPLE CHOOSE!
