you didnt understand my post i beleive. i m talking about how many foreigners in south cyprus now it will be more and more in time . SOUTH side. what the hell to do with turkiye

This feared influx of foreigners when a nation joins the EU has not happened in any other country, why should Cyprus be the first?

When you cut out all of the rhetoric and get down to basics the facts are that Turkey wishes to join the EU. BUT until it complies with human rights issues etc then it will not be allowed to be a member. The Govt of Turkey do not see it in their interest to allow free speech and to allow ALL that live in their borders to live there safely. Even those Cypriots in the North of Cyprus are commanded to 'prove their Turkishness'

It could be argued that 30,000 Turkish troops in the north are foreigners and considering that the population of Cypriots living in the north is considerably less than this then who has been swamped by foreigners??? When you count all those from other countries who have bought land in the North then who has been swamped?

Any new country to the EU faces cultural change and Cyprus will be no different. New attitudes and system change and while this is happening it may get a bit rocky sometimes but the benefits are there for all to see.

Even Turkey can see the benefits and of course the income it would receive to build its infrastructure.

I rest my case and officially I hate Turkey, it government, policies, invading forces and occupation of Cyprus.

Just to establish that my feelings have not changed into the New Year . . .

Turkey is an abomination on Humankind. They are an embarrassment to all who associate with them. They are the most violent members of Homo sapiens and if they became extinct, it would leave the rest of the species, stronger, wiser, fitter and able to reach our higher goals unhindered.

Either that or evolve into civilised Human beings a bit faster please . . . it's too painful for the rest of us to keep dealing with you whilst you are suspended in the prehistoric era. :roll:

As for the EU . . . . it just means the GCs have more countries to visit or go forth and multiply in . . . whilst always having their roots in Cyprus.

Turkish roots are in Mongolia, time you lot visited there again :lol:
