Its mostly Greek of a Cypriot regional twist..apart from the north which is occupied by Turkey and a few Turkish Cypriots who want to sell it completely to the Turks as they are all facists and have no respect for their homeland.

i think i was wrong . if you dont have enough money i think paphos will be better for you. because in north lot to do and its cost as well. prices are cheaper then south but still smilar but trust me kyrenia is like monte carlo and paphos is like a village .

Many Turks like GAVCARoCOM will try and mislead you if you encounter them. I would not have made this post but for his above comment.

Remember the north is an illegally occupied territory, mostly resident to property thieves and supporters of ethnic cleansing.

Paphos is fantastic and so is the rest of free Cyprus, so have a great time . . . and I do believe Cyprus will be Euros when you get there.

I would not have posted this reply, if not for the above response. Phoenix means well (in her own unique way), whilst in Cyprus , make up your own mind. But I do agree that all of Cyprus is beautiful. Watch out for the illegal users of Turkish property in the south.

Most contributors to this site are quite civilised but it is sometimes dominated by idiots who of low breeding who have limited vocabulary and tend to use monosylabic and four letter words. Ignore them and don't respond to them, they may go away.

No Palio, we dont think we are Turkish Cypriots, we know we are Turkish Cypriots. I and a lot of others are from the south of the island and due to circumstances were forcrd to go to the north.

As I said previously, you are capable of reading up and making up your own mind. Greek Cypriots are nice people really. They dont mean to be horrible, vindictive, vengeful, arrogant, pigheaded etc etc...

There are even nicer ones like Phoenix. You will love her.

According to the Cyprus Constitution, Yes. They are Turkish Cypriots.

There anticedents have been living and been buried in Cyprus for generations. How can anyone take that away from them? They are grateful to Turkey, but for Turkeys actions after the Greek Coup against the Republic, the TCs would have ben eliminated from Cyprus.
