advice on euro and prices please

hi im new to this forum and also cyprus,i will be flying out to paphos on wednesday . i have quite a few questions if anyone can advice i would be grateful.
1.what is best currency to take,euro here is only 130 is it better to change in cyprus,or would it better to use atm machines (is there any)or take gb pounds.
2.Any ideas what prices will they be charging in euros ie
local pint of beer
3 course meal
english breakfast
and general other items
will there be many places open in paphos
AND MOST OF ALL ANY ONE KNOW WHERE I WILL GET TO WATCH THE newcastle v MAN CITY game on weds night...thankyou all

is that the football match that nufc are gonna lose? do you mean that one like? :lol:

welcome to the forum mate!

unfortunately 130 is about the going rate at the mo! £is very weak against euro, change your money up here or there makes no real difference tbh! there are atm machines everywhere but i`m not sure if you get charged for exchanging money with them (probably you do)

prices in cy. vary a lot down to if you go to a tourist trap type place or a cypriot place frequented by locals! i find paphos quite expensive tbh and find larnace for example to be more reasonable!

local pint between £1-1.50
full english breakfast £ 3.00
3 coarse meal £10

it wont be like the summer season obviously but there will still be enough open places i would say

sports bars with footy everywhere! :wink:
