The Archbishop of Canterbury has defended his comments on Sharia law, following widespread criticism

However, at least two General Synod members have called for Dr Rowan Williams to resign following the row.
Dr Williams had called for parts of Sharia law to be recognised in the UK, and he is said to be in a state of shock and dismayed by the criticism he has received from his own Church.
Islamic Sharia law is a legal and social code designed to help Muslims live their daily lives,

I wonder and surprised that no one of you asked rawk to stop threatening me who has been trying to trace me because he thinks that I am from Limassol mosque. He does not know that I can upload any website from and part of the world and rawk has told many time that he will bring to me destruction because he talked to some of Muslims and British authorities in Cyprus. He has been using harsh words but you didn’t condemn him, why you guys have double policy?

When I said rawk is the one who likes to spread mischief because he continuously spread false information without knowing the truth. I didn’t say that he should be put to death but I am the one who warned him to hell fire because I am the one who loves and want to save rawk from hell fire. He may doubt my intention but God alone knows my intention. I am the person who is very patient and God almighty will do justice.

i will finish this argument by telling you a true incident, once prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was traveling along with one woman and she asked him not talk about Muhammad because she had heard some wrong information about Muhammad (peace be upon him) from others. She said to Prophet Muhammad that you are very good and kind and you helped me a lot and asked his name and when prophet told his name to her, she didn’t believe on her ears and immediately accept Islam.
