Interesting video. It's Cat Stevens! He's a great singer (changed his name to Yusuf Islam about 18 years ago).

Prefered his earlier stuff including Morning Has Broken.

Agreed.

i read his biography and how he became muslim. unbelieveable. sound like a miracle how a pop star having wonderfull life suddenly gave up all and according to him, he was in search of peace and he found islam to be the right path.

But then he realised that it didn’t pay very well… 8)

So he has now dropped the ‘Islam’ bit and started recording again.

Qamerslans, from your slice, i take it you have no real substantial reply to give me, you have proven to be another example of an illiterate blind religious man, who has taken the job of spreading the disease without understanding anything about life or existence.

Good luck.

They're his concentration camps not ours so it is none of our business.

I think it is quite remarkable that a person with your 'powers of perception' has the audacity to use the expression "It is quite plain to see".

The inane interpretations of what your apparently addled mind allows you to present in response to what others submit, is testimony to the fact that your greatest failure is your inability to do just that.

Look back over your own contributions to ANY discussion, they are invariably lacking of any substance, actually, "It is quite plain to see".

Your biggest flaw is the you are inconsistent you say one thing in one reply then when it comes back to haunt you as lies do; you then become abusive.

It is so stupid to say that what a country does is their business when they're commiting crimes against humanity to it's own inhabitants, were you against the intervention in Bosnia? probably not because they were mainly muslims who were the victims of genocide there.

I don't think I have ever made any mention of Bosnia in any of my previous posts, nor have I ever supported any nation which has inflicted suffering upon it's own citizens.

If you have misconstrued what I have written, you can hardly blame me for your own inability to understand the substance of it.

I think I have made my opinions abundantly clear on many issues, your inference that I 'Fence Sit' is evidence enough to support the fact that you have not really digested what you have read.

I suggest you should do a little revision, perhaps you would be good enough to highlight the areas where I have been inconsistent, or is that another undertaking that might prove difficult for your inept ramblings :?:

Of course you have; you have frequently stated that what the elected government/leader etc etc etc of a country does is purely their business and that know one else has a right to interfere.
In other words you believe in sitting on the fence looking the other way whilst people like Hitler, Idi Amin, Saddam Hussain, Pol Pot etc go about their merry genocidal way.

For goodness sake FreeSpirit, how is it you cannot understand the simple fact that other governments are as entitled to govern as are ours ?.

We may not agree with their policies, in many cases we may be totally against them, that does not give us the right to ridicule their leaders since (whatever WE may think of them) others must be in support of them or they would not be the leaders, they ARE therefore entitled to the respect their position demands.

How do you suppose other nations view OUR leaders, known to be constantly lying and cheating, attacking an innocent nation under the pretence of assisting them when actually only interested in stealing their resources ?.

Your constant references to previous leaders is quite pointless, their actions (in some cases) could be viewed as lesser evils than those perpetrated by the US/UK and others on the innocent nation of Iraq.

In order to influence other nations to adopt OUR principles, we should surely demonstrate that they are superior.

In THAT respect, WE have failed miserably, THAT is the basis upon which I state my opinions, I cannot see how you can determine that those opinions are indicative of a 'Fence Sitter', perhaps you can explain.
