Aidan.

A Greek Cypriot who is a British singer? ah well

There are literally thousands of Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots in the U.K. (in the music industry) who qualify for the title of British entertainers.

Or would you wish them to drop their identity in order to become primarily British such as you apparently are ?.

Perish that thought too.   :

Aidan, I am sorry to have failed to answer you question.

I am not a muslim, my occupation (particularly of recent years) has brought me into contact with thousands who are.

I must confess that those who are devotees of Islam are among the most respectful and misjudged people I have ever encountered.

No Aidan, I am not one of them, nor would I have the strength and forbearance to become one, I merely envy them for theirs my friend.

Which DOES NOT mean that I agree with the verdict/sentence, rather that I accept the jurisdiction of other nations with the same observance as my own.

Which means that if Hitler came to power today you would quite contentedly sit back knowing of his obscenities and hide behind the fence that you usualy sit on. Hitlers henchmen took a similar stance as you at the Munich war crimes trials, "We were only obeying orders". luckily for the rest of us there is now a world court to answer to where people like you cannot hide behind the "well we looked the other way because it was none of our business" excuse.

I am prompted to highlight your drivel once again in the hope that you might take the time to STUDY the content of that which I initially submitted,(I refer to the whole article) not a small part which gives your claptrap license to reveal itself , as usual.

It's quite plain to see, your belief is that if Hitler came to power today and behaved as he did in the 30s/40s your answer would be that it is none of our business.
They're his concentration camps not ours so it is none of our business.

I think it is quite remarkable that a person with your 'powers of perception' has the audacity to use the expression "It is quite plain to see".

The inane interpretations of what your apparently addled mind allows you to present in response to what others submit, is testimony to the fact that your greatest failure is your inability to do just that.

Look back over your own contributions to ANY discussion, they are invariably lacking of any substance, actually, "It is quite plain to see".

Your biggest flaw is the you are inconsistent you say one thing in one reply then when it comes back to haunt you as lies do; you then become abusive.

It is so stupid to say that what a country does is their business when they're commiting crimes against humanity to it's own inhabitants, were you against the intervention in Bosnia? probably not because they were mainly muslims who were the victims of genocide there.

Interesting video. It's Cat Stevens! He's a great singer (changed his name to Yusuf Islam about 18 years ago).
