Well that's what the Police found near Limassol; Arab (Syrians Jordanians etc) Loading cut up twin cabs into containers the containers were to be shipped to Syria.
The police took a guy there, his Toyata had been stolen at Paphos, they had already cut his twin cab into two parts. he was taken to indentify the vehicle.
These people were not Brits, Christians, athiests etc; they were muslims.

I it is as you have written above then why has a young muslim man been sentenced to death by a muslim court in Afghanistan for downloading anti islamic material from the intenet.
What about his human rights, his freedom of speach and freedom of expression?

i have not listen about the above incident that you have mentioned so i will not comment without knowing it because it will not be fair to comment without knowing the details.

.

I'm very surprised that you haven't heard about it because it has caused a mass diplomatic incident with many countries incensed by such medieval barbarism, it seems nothing has changed in Afghanistan where the islamic church rules and any slight indiscretion results in sentence of death.
And this is what you would have us convert to

So if you are so enlightened why have you not yet answered, it is an international issue, unless of course these things are so commomn in islamic countries that you feel they are not worth considering.
As I said previously nothing has changed in Afghanistn soon we'll be hearing about educated women being shot.

Many profess to be of no faith at all (including myself unfortunately), perhaps miltiades should now grow a beard and start behaving himself.

Eliko , I hate beards , they were ok in the dark ages , no razors , but now they are grotesque especially when religious nuts grow them to please GOD !!! Imagine you die , go to the gates and told , you have been a good human but you shaved your fuv=cking beard so piss off to hell you infidel bastard. I mean it is so blatantly stupid that a beard makes you a good person !!
I think beards look dirty and unsightly more so on females !!

miltiades, I do believe (and I may be wrong) that the practice of growing an unkempt beard, which is quite common among the male Muslim population, is a visible sign that the person wearing it has managed to rise above the necessity to exhibit themselves as prosperous and fashionable.

Modesty is also encouraged among the women of Islam, it would be unfair and unacceptable were not the same principles observed by the male faithful.

In my humble opinion.

Let me disagree Eliko , they look dirty , the women look scary , the prosperous and well educated dont follow this archaic practice . A woman dressed in black with only the eyes showing is grotesque to say the least. What God would instruct his creations to go forth and multiply but at the same time look dirty and scary !! Come on Eliko , they are living in the dark ages worshiping a non existent God. !!
Do I hate religion , no I dont , but if you do a quick on Google for world literacy rates you will find that the most illiterate are also the most religious . I wonder if it tell us something ,, ie the most literate amongst us are the most religious. !!

This is a missuse of the word modesty, it would be easier to believe that they were trying to hide their ugliness, flat chested, knock knees and fat arses.
Question:- are they allowed to wear sunglasses if they're boss-eyed?

I find nowhere in the Concise Oxford Dictionary where modesty means covering oneself from head to toe.

SURELY, you do not find it necessary to research the 'Concise Oxford Dictionary' in order to understand the meaning of 'Modesty'
