Taxes

Postby IcyNoAngel » Sat Dec 29, 2007 10:19 am

Hi everybody, I have a question to you, AGAIN.

Where can you see if your taxes are all paid and that all papers related to this are ok? (Taxes on your income).
Is there a place where you can go and ask about it (based on Alien Book or Passport I presume, as I'm a foreigner), and also get an answer?

Hope somebody can help.
Thx.

Come on, somebody must know. At least the place where I have to go. Please. This is very important.
Thank you. 8)

Are you self-employed or do you work for someone?

Do you do your own returns (in which case you would know where you send the cheques to) or do you have an accountant in which case he would give you a receipt or an address to check out.

Also in case there are district offices, it might help people if they knew roughly where you lived.

As you can see I don't have the answer, but hopefully keeping your thread rolling may attract someone who knows.

:D

Thanks phoenix.
I am not self-employed. I work for someone. We haven't signed anything but he says I am paying taxes, and every month I give something away from my salary. He says I am registered and I have to pay taxes, but I don't trust him, that's why I want to know if he is bullshitting me or not.

Thanks for any help. 8)

We have been out of Cyprus for 3 years, and we thought that we had paid all our taxes. No :!: :!: We have just received a demand for 2Euros and 79cents.

How much must that have cost them in admin, is someone having a laugh !!

I would have thought that someone would have had the common sense to close the account 2.79 poxy euro's I ask you.

Anyway I have sent them a cheque for 3 euros and told them to keep the change. You Guys living there are paying for this cock-up !!!

I am not a Cypriot, :!: we have always paid our way wherever we lived.

Cyta are still badgering us for a phone bill that was paid when we transferred our house into the name of the new owner. We went down with him, they calculated the bill and we paid it. But they still insist that we owe them money. Surely when an account is transferred that is that .
You cannot make calls from a house when you do not live there, can you.

Enough to drive a girl nuts . :?
