You are right, I've been there before, when I was working in another place.
I was asking if there can be a way to find out if I'm ok with everything or am I working on the "black market", if you know what I mean

We used to know a guy who did our tax when we lived there, he used to work for the inland revenue but left to work as a private tax consultant. We have not spoken to him for a couple of years but he is in Limassol ( or was)
His Name is Harry Sofianos and He has his offices just off Makarious Avenue. I would lay odds he could find out for you.

Good Luck

Cheshire Cat......

What a hoot! You should ask them for a "breakdown" of the demand and then argue the facts with them. It could go on for years & years just as court cases do here on Devil's Island in the Med!
"Jobs for the Boys" I reckon.

Let us not forget that they don't have much else to do now that Cyprus belongs to Europe.

I would if I could be bothered !! 3 Years on and we are still tied.

If it were not for the people I care about I would try to put the whole business behind me. Sadly there are so manny people there who are
nice that it tugs at my heart strings.

Cheshire Cat,
So sorry to hear that you are STILL being harrased by the archaic Cypriot Tax Authorities. They are a law unto themselves in my experience as is the case with a lot of things in this little rock in the Med.

Just cut the ties and be rid of them for good and say good riddance.
