That wasn't the issue here...Zan said turkey asked for it and never got it...the recent survey in the nth beg to differ with your thoughts...

40% said no to a 2 state solution...

Just keep on colonizing and you will keep on seeing tcs either moving to the free areas and others overseas...and then we will talk which community is getting extinct...

Boomer, the 40% were the TC's who said NO directly. Of the 60% yes vote in the partition survey, more than half were the settlers, so that only leaves about 30% TC's who said yes to partition. If you interpolate those figure it comes to something like 60%-40% TC's saying NO to Partition, if we were to calculate TC's to settlers at a 1:1 Ratio living in the "TRNC". But our friend Bananiot tells us, there are 300,000 settlers in the "TRNC which would change the Ratio to 2:1 in favour of the settlers, which would further change the survey vote to be 70%-30% against Partition.

I was hoping that bilako22 would be able to analyse the ratio on his own...but you are right, he might need help in the logic department...

It really is a shame that people can't break down figures in order to see the truth...

If what Bananniot is saying is correct and the occupied areas give them residency then these people will be allowed to vote...In this case when it comes to crunch time I can see a massive influx of people moving to the RoC...

I still think there is still time to take the bull by the horns...But the tcs must wake up and smell the coffee before they realise they will not be effendis and more...Time is really running out...

I wonder as a journo, working for bayarak, have you got a scoop or what?...

I always wanted to know what the 13th Salary was worth in the "TRNC" to civil servants and now I know.

.........50,000 settlers with "TRNC Citizenship".!!!

Meanwhile Turkish Cypriot papers have claimed that the Turkish government is refusing to pay the 13th salaries of civil servants in the north unless the ‘TRNC’ grants ‘citizenship’ to some 50,000 settlers.

No analysis of figures is necessary . Look at the alternatives to partition . Do the many racist GCs on this forum really want to live in a united Cyprus that will have at least 20% of its population as TC Moslems. Think of all the wailing mosques , fundamental Moslems . TCs as civil servants , policemen politicians etc. The ROC will no longer be in the sole control of the Greeks , Roll on unifiication.
