Stout wrote:Professor Denizaksulu I stated that I am no fan of politics for good reason, the whole problem which exists in Cyprus today is the result of knife-in-the-back politics.
The Cypriot people were known the world over for their kindness and hospitality for many years, it was not until the politicians began to weave their webs of deceit and used the well tried weapon of religious differences to stir up trouble that things began to change.
The real reasons for causing unrest were, as always, concealed from the general population.
Now, the country has been divided, a classic move favoured by the Brits in particular, which leaves the once peaceful inhabitants of the island thirsting for blood.
Behind the scenes, the Jews are playing their favourite game, it's called, "Let's you and him fight over me !"
Not too sure about what Phoenix will have to say about that lot but everyone is entitled to an opinion, the above is an example of mine.

When you've recovered from your indulgences and are not feeling too sensitive, dive right in to the Cyprus problem threads.

I'm just here to learn, but it sounds like you have some well formulated opinions . . . . so more please :D

P.S. is "stout" your favourite tipple?

I am up and about Phoenix, bit reluctant to "Dive In" on the Cyprus Probs just yet, haven't seen much to encourage involvement as the general trend seems to be based on insults which are valueless in a discussion.
Perhaps when I have "Run the Gauntlet" a bit, I might join in.
My favoured tipple is Guinness, my downfall lies in the habit of mixing it with wines and spirits, fatal to any toper of note.
