Hey Cheshire Cat.. Do you know what really upsets me? when people say that Christmas is an excuse to make our selves drunk and make idiots of our selves, at Christmas you have to give not wanting to give. Christianity in people has gone because they are weak and have been won over by materials and money.

One day maybe something will happen to remind us that Christianity is here and needed more than ever..

Is that not what I said, Christmas is all about love that is what we were taught as kids. What each person does to celebrate is entirely up to them as long as they do not spoil things for others. What I give to my family and friends I give freely and with love. The first Christmas gifts were gold francincence and Myhrr so the bible says.

I lived for a long time in Cyprus, and I can honestly say I have never seen such a materialistic society, I now live in France and because people in this area which is very rural are poorer than in Cyprus things are more gentle and relaxed and the meaning of Christmas is more prominent. People here take the time to wish complete strangers a Joyeux Noel. It is like going back a hundred years with old fashioned good manners and curtesy.
