Make sure he does it before the election...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

toxic politics for toxic people!

Unfortunately we have a few on this site on both sides of the line!
But for God's sake, the year is ending so can't we all just try and be nice to each other for a change and start 2008 off with some hopes for a better future at least,or is even that too much to expect???

cymart, yes, unfortunately we have a few people who believe in ghosts and then they think they have the ability to talk about politics and judge others. But have you made anything to change yourself for the better or you have just given up?

The racists are those who ethnically cleansed the majority of Cypriots from their land where they existed for 1000s of years, in order to create a pure "Turkish state" on land that does not belong to them.

If I was blind then maybe I wouldn't be able to see that 40.000 Turkish troops occupy the north part of my country, and your desire to partition my country and steal from us 1/3rd of it. The way I talk is exactly because I am not blind and I can see your racist, criminal and illegal actions against us. Or maybe you expected me to love you after what you did and insist on continue doing against us? Only a masochist would do that, and I am not one of them.

About you legalizing your crimes: Keep dreaming.

The division is a direct result of your own actions, stop hiding behind your finger everyone can see you.

The division is a direct result of you invading and illegally occupying 1/3rd of our country. So cut the lame excuses.

I don't have an interest in ghosts and paranormal phenomena, I prefer science and logic instead, so I don't think I would ever care to meet you.

But I get the feeling you don't like me either. No wonder you want to remove our human and democratic rights so you can silence us. But as long as people like you do not prevail in Cyprus we will continue to have democracy and everybody will be free to express their opinion, including me and you.

Why was intervention necessary?, you people were playing silly buggers with our lives, and I will not make any apologies for something which you brought upon yourselves and still to this day do not acknowledge, all you do is cry we are all Cypriots as long as we are the majority, well don't this type of approach will get you as far as the last 33 years. Happy 2008.

The invasion not only it was not necessary but it was also criminal, illegal and inexcusable.

Wrong again!
The Athens Court of Appeal, in its decision of March 21, 1979, also held that the "intervention of Turkey in Cyprus was legal: ".... The Turkish military intervention in Cyprus which was carried out in accordance with the Zurich and London Agreements was legal
Decision no: 2658/79 Dated 23/3/79

Can't really accuse the Athens Court of Appeal as biased can you.

As for inexcusable:
The Greek newspaper Eleftherotipia published an interview with Nicos Sampson on 26th February 1981 in which he said "Had Turkey not intervened I would not only have proclaimed ENOSIS - I would have annihilated the Turks in Cyprus
