For some reason everything went really well. I even did a major good deed for a neighbour . . .

However I still find Christmas celebrations dispiriting (maybe because I spent one of them in a Hospital Mortuary a few years back )

Anyway have survived another one . . . just depressing New Years Eve and Auld Lang Syne to get through and things start to resume normality again I hope.

I received a book (Silent Spring, Carson) which I have been trying to track down for about 15 years so I'm off to bed to start reading it.
