Went along to Jumbo yesterday morning as I wanted to buy some little 'daft' prezzies for my friends' children for Christmas.

It was absolutely heaving, you could not move I promise you.
Were they giving the goods away?!?!?

How do people actually shop in that condition?
Webbo and myself just did a u-turn!! I was talking to a friend later in the afternoon and she said that it has been like that for the last 2 months at least!! WHY?!?!!?

Jumbo heavily advertise on the radio, I think they even have their own jingle. People from all round shop there. I have relatives in Larnaca who systematically go to the Jumbo of Lefkosia (Nicosia). The villages near-by shop there too. It's the prices and the variety of goods that attract the custom, I have heard that the quality is not that bad either, let's face it this is not a common combination in Cyprus. Personally I have never been but I hope to go soon, probably after the Christmas break.

Jumbo is a cool superstore. I like it, but as Bubbles says, during Xmas, its not a comfortable place to be.

Jumbo is a popular store for TC's also...I am sure they contribute to the problem..

Ok, ok. And the rubiks? Where are they? Perhaps people that populate Jumbo everyday are maniacs and got them all. Or maybe Cyprus is just a village where you cannot find anything.

I think it's the fact you can get so many things in one place rather than driving around to various shops.

The quality is not good but it's cheap so you expect it. It's ok if you go early.
