DINOS if you click on the link I posted above, you will find that Sophia changes her story to suit whatever she wants. She just seems to be out to give Cypriots a bad name.

Hope this helps you understand.
I too have thought why do Cypriot men smell more than usual. I feel it boils down to a number of factors; the first factor is the obvious heat. When it is hot people sweat more. You might find that smells along with sound waves travel faster in a hot climate. This is clearly noticed in the winter and summer seasons. Also heat helps the germs multiply faster, take into consideration why people use fridges. With regards to the climate, in order to maintain a fragrance-free environment you will have to be more hygienic than what you would in a cold climate, hence the difference between the UK and Cyprus. It is not necessary Cypriot men that are at fault, it might just be the environment.
The second factor is the type of clothing worn. Low quality fabrics don't go well with sweat, subsequently the person's sweat is stored in this low-grade fabric and later matures into this awful smell. I feel the best way to avoid this is to wear 100% cotton fabrics. If anybody has any other materials best worm to assist in the problem please state them. I noticed from a personal viewpoint that when I wore the low-quality clothing bought from Cypriot clothes shops I would smell within minutes (not saying that all clothes bought in Cyprus are of subquality standard)
The third factor is deodorant. The most effective deodorant is the fragrance-free deodorant. My personal favorite is the one bought at Clinique, it costs around £10 so it's not cheap. I do find that cheap deodorant like Lynx are nowhere as effective.
Another factor is change of clothes; people even go as far as to wear the same clothing the next day which can cause the smells to mature to an even grater smell. It is essential to have a shower daily but most do neglect this, especially when attempting to save money of water bills.
Smells can be associated to their diet and lifestyle. I must warm you Sofia1 not all men smell, the occupation of the person also plays a huge role. You can associate bad smells with labouring jobs, normally office & sale jobs dont have these smells linked to their occupation. If a persons main diet is burgers he is likely to sweat more and depending on the deodorant smell.
Hopefully this would help you understand, for the record I am a Cypriot man and I do not smell.
