How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

And what they do not understand, they will become exinct with partition...

indeed. so will the Greek Cypriots.

I disagree with you on this one RW...I am a Cypriot, and I have no affiliation to Greece...The same way a yank or a skip are no longer considered poms or dare say they don't even want to be affiliated with the poms...

Boo Hoo go tell that to my grandmother who went to her gave not knowing where her 17 year old son was. Respect you never in hell or heaven. Lets see how forgiving you are now.

Tukish Cypriots on this forum and more specifically in relation to this topic do dnot a see a problem with the large intakes of settlers from Turkey. they hold an alleagiance to Turkey and deny their Cypriotness. They have clearly stated they much rather being taken over by Turks their brothers than unify and become a minority in Cyprus.

They are a minority by nature of their numbers. That does not mean having less opportunity and equal rights than anyone else within Cyprus. They reject that. I have no more responsibility than themselves. So take your Canadian patriarchal shit and shove again mate.

I hate fucers who talkt the talk but don't walk the talk and you posts have been nothing but absolute garbage

Humanist...settle down mate....Recently the poll showed 40% do not want a 2 state solution...the other 60% was made up from wolvies and settlers...

You need to think about these 40%...

This particular Canadian has trouble accepting the above argument as there has been documented cases of Anti-Turkish bias at the hands of Greek Cypriots even before 1960. That translates out to less opportunity and denial of equal rights. So the question is: is it going to change for the Turkish Cypriots if and when unification occurs?

dude you are filled with hate and despair, and you let it eat you like a flesh eating disease.

If Cyprus, the island, is divided it will become something like Haiti and the Dominican Republic. It will only be a matter of finding a name for the "Greek" side. Oh yea, what do you care, you won't be living in Haiti, so it will be easy for you to forget, crying bitterly that you gave up because, what the hell, there were others who wanted something else, other than what is right.

How old are you Humanist? I am old enough to have lived in a "mixed" village. I remember a way of life where we villagers worked cooperatively, where we lived as Cypriots, before we were divided to be a "Greek" or a "Turk". And you can call me a "Turk" if you must, it is a compliment, since i am just a donkey that remembers, and although I am a Grecophone, i do not like being called "Greek".

If and when unification occurs, we assume it will include a Bicommunal make up, which implies that Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots will both have to respect minority rights in there particular assembly as a majority. As well there will exist a State, and its Government will represent all citizens as a united body, as equals, and as Individuals, without a bias for or against any ethnicity

I would like to see your documented evidence as the Brits used the TCS as policemen, to beat up GCS prior to 1960...they even used them as hangmen, during the struggle for liberation...
