Im a British national and ethnically a Greek Cypriot.

That has nothing to do with your version of history. Anyone who has half a brain and understands history or politics will tell you that the Turks were still in middle Asia around 700AD. The first recorded Greek settlement in Cyprus was between 1,500 and 2,000BC. Also Cyprus was never a part of Turkey, I think you are getting it mixed up with the Ottoman Empire.

...and if you agree with aggressive imperialism then it shows what kind of person you are. Sophia1, if you really ARE Greek - then your one of the most naive ones I know.

Sophia1 is the latest Turkish propaganda vehicle.

When she first came on the forum her anti-Greek thread was so obvious and her bare-faced lies so transparent . . . we exposed her in one evening

She disappeared for a while and has re-surfaced with a few inane "let's win their trust, that I am GC" . . .

But in the end she has to do her job, and that is to spout her anti-Greek phrases.

It's so pathetic . . .

We must represent a real threat to warrant this mimicry . . . except Sophia is so much cleverer than all of us because she has the power to see both sides

Sophia, my advice is if you want credible information on the history of Cyprus then DONT look at anything from a Turkish source. To say they twist the truth is an understatement.
