Turkish Cypriots have become a minority in their own country

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Close the borders indeed!

debate what .... i dont want a debate ...the fact is you have a evil mouth ...unlike you i couldnt give monkeys for my behaviour and attitude on the forum ...i always tell the truth in a roundabout way ....

and for your benefit ...yeah i want to shut the borders to the turks ...all 500000 of them ...no problem to the 42k of turkish cypriots who come over ..and yes i admit to working to a solution with them ...but not one where the turks gain any benefits over the tc ...and in my view i wish to close the borders and set up visa based access ...

it would stop the drugs making their way over ,the refugees scum and other criminal activities .... business solutions are already crossing the border ..but the human trafficking needs to be halted

sorry mate ..i have little respect nor care for your views nor opinions ...i have a lot of influence ...on those i care for ..

you lot i care not for ....shamspalahsahhrehahbarabah whatever you call yourself mate ...i piss on your views and care not a shit shovel of your evidence of attrocities on turkish cypriots ..ive seen loads of evidence of british officers dropping off suspected eoka guys into turkish areas ...pre warning them and then mobs of the turks cutting them to pieces ...encouraged by the brits ...
so
mate

you check the truth ....

what goes around come around ....

ps ...we may have lost the war and half the country but you lot lost what little bit you still got ...your own countrymen have invaded your land and raped it infront of you for their own glory and politcal advantages ..you were equals under ROC ...in some ways ...but now you are the 2nd class ...2nd in line to everything

have a happy xmas in your minirity slums

low blow but true ...and the truth hurts ;....

Well if it makes you sleep better at night then you can believe in whatever the hell you want to motherfucker, i know one thing and that is i care not a bit for you, your views, or any other Turkish settler over here, most of them work for me here and i am definitely not 2nd class, unfortunately for you, your ignorance kills your vision and you are far from the truth, but thank god for that or i wouldn't be having so much fun here

On the other hand, if you want to "check the truth" then i suggest you come pay me a visit in Lefke so i can show you what we are REALLY like ;)

Nice house, humanist

Whereabouts is it if you don't mind me asking? Many Greek-Cypriots who first visited the north to see their houses were not as plesantly surprised as you were....Some found them ruined or completely demolished,or inhabited by settlers from the mainland who keep them in a terrible state......and some were also refused entry by them!

Lefke is a very nice place to visit and people there are generally equally nice!
What spoils it is the serious problem of toxic waste at the abandoned Cyprus Mining site nearby which is probably amoing the most serious in the Mediterranean.....

LOL what ever you say uranus....

Absolutely right Cymart, Lefke is gorgeous and one of the only villages that is pretty much totally TC.

The CMC company (British i think) left behind so much shit that it is impossible for us to clean it up, you should see how the sea near it turns RED on a rainy day, the place is an absolute disgrace and it totally ruins the beautiful landscape of Lefke, what a shame really :(

Perhaps the adults of this forum can learn from the children of our United Country. What a beautiful Christmas present to read such documenatation, partitionists and Zan read your hearts outs. Where your arsehole gone now Zan?

A Lesson in Loss in Cyprus

35 Cypriot Greeks and Turks joined a workshop "Creating Empathy - Loss", in which they learned about the pain of families who had lost relatives.

The workshop "Creating Empathy - Loss" was organised for student members of the "Under the Same Sky" club of the English School in Cyprus, which both Cypriot Greek and Turkish students attend.

The workshop took place on 15 and 16 December in Protaras, and was led by Sevgül Uludag from the Yenidüzen newspaper and Andreas Parashos from the Politis newspaper. In addition, Didem Caylar and Yannos Demetriu, whose grandfathers were never found, told the students about the experience of loss.

The students were given a perspective on the history of the last 47 years, and Uludag and Parashos gave presentations on disappeared people and mass graves, using many photographs to accompany their accounts.
How to deal with loss as society and individuals

In smaller groups, the students discussed questions such as whether the topic of disappeared people should be part of history lessons, and how Cyprus should deal with the losses. Students realised that the experience of loss was the same for people from both societies.

At the end of the workshop, the students expressed their wish for a peaceful world, in which there was no war and loss. (TK/AG)

The question to the proud Turkish speaking Cypriot remains what are your views on soon becoming a minority in your own country?

These people are our origins, which is Turkish...our Cypriot brothers tried to stab us in the back, all Turkey has done for us is put food on our plates, she not only protects us but supports us financially, you do not bite the hand that feeds you humanist. People who choose to live in the TRNC and become citizens are my people regardless of their ethnic origins, as long as they abide by our laws and respect each other we have no problems.

Can you see or understand the difference? The Turks have supported us in every way possible whereas GCs have only tired to sell us out to Greece isolate, discriminate and persecute us for being TCs.
