just wanted to share a story with my dear forum friends

i was going through my elementary school drawings. i found this incredibly detailed bart simpson picture with him holdin national flags of many different countries. i put the country names under each of these flags. i also had the flag of TRNC and under it, it was saying Kibris (Cyprus). i thought it was interesting because thats what we were thought. cyprus's flag was the TRNC one. and i can tell you, today still when people say "we are going to Cyprus", they mean northern side. its like the south doesnt exists. i believe many people realized the south existed after the annan plan referandum. i actually started to read about the problem after this referandum too.

i guess you can easily understand that i am a young fella huh? : )

thats because a problem doesn't exist if it is never mentioned. justifications would be required if a non-Turkish Cyprus was involved in the scenario as to why it is difference from the Turkish counterpart.
