DO NOT READ THIS!!!

I TOLD YOU NOT TO...

NO Complaints PLEASE... NOW Read On...

Have you noticed how Christmas has become so 'politically correct' that no mention of Christmas is made by most retailers, we now wish people 'Happy Holidays.'

I miss the Old Fashioned Christmas when everyone wished each over 'Merry Christmas'. ...so this year I will be making a conscious effort to wish everyone Merry Christmas...my way of saying that I am celebrating the season and what it stands for.

So whatever your religion, or your beliefs, I'm asking you, my email buddies, if you agree with me, to please do the same.

And if you'll pass this on to your email buddies, and so on...maybe we can prevent one more treasured tradition from being lost in the sea of 'Political Correctness.'

Love light and laughter to you and your loved ones

God Bless and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

happy holidays is not a term we use here in Australia, it seems to be an American term. i guess it just shows that we haven't become that Americanized yet lol  :D

We're not Americanised over here.We always say 'Merry Christmas'.To me,'Xmas' is the lazy way of spelling 'Christmas'.

I am surprised Aidan - after all Christmas means Christ's Mass. Do you celebrate the Mass in your Proddie churches?

Tess,we celebrate the Eucharist in the Prod church. The Mass isn't even mentioned in the Bible, nor are Popes, nuns & monks.

This is one American who still says Merry Christmas and doesn't care what's politically correct. So to all Merry Christmas.

Well, erm, yes, isn't that the whole point?...

But yeah, happy holidays is extremely american and I've never even heard it used once in the UK myself, not even by a whole range of races and religions. Getting my insurance renewed today got me a free bottle of wine and some free coffee cups and a "Merry Christmas!", so all good. BTW, nip into Atlantic insurance for any old reason and see if you can get hold of the free stuff :) No probs...

Cheers
