Most christians here who have turned to atheiests are because the christianty and priests are not able to answer the questions and they portray to many pictures of God that make them confuse to reject all because very dificult to choose the right one.

The difference is that enlightened people understand about when and where those words were written and what meaning or lack of relevence they have in a modern world, whereas muslims still live in a world more akin to the 'Arabian Nights' time zone

Does that mean that if you don;' believe in your Gods own words you change it to suit your own needs/wants?
What kind of religion and belief is that when you can chop and change the words or the meaning of the words of your own God to what ever it is you want them to be?
It is this kind of stupidity (not calling you a stupid BTW) that drives people like me away from religion and our need to become atheists and be proud of it.

Are you not aware that the Bible that we read today is mostly a bunch of hand me down stories complete with several translations along the way? Two classic incorrect translations being of Moses parting the Red Sea recent ancient texts have shown this translation to be wrong, the actual Hebrew word was Reed Sea which is along the Mediteranean coast of Egypt also the pilgrims who go to Mount Siniai (excuse spelling) are going to the wrong mountain.

No, that was not a translation mistake, whoever was writing that part was warned by his boss that if he didn't finish it by 21.33hrs that night he would get 100 lashes. So in his excitement he forgot one "e".

Well, if you can't spell it correctly you can't laugh at other peoples spelling mistakes, can you?. The correct spelling is "Horeb" but not everyone believes that.
