yeah! 2 weeks in the wilderness that is life without the cyprus forum, sure taught me! i had to go back to my old forum and talk to people from sunderland and newcastle! brrrrrr

the other way round more like! i can talk to the mackems but find the geordies just genarally grunt and make animal noises :wink:

and they are so deluded about their football team they make me laugh! they think that they are the barcelona of the north :lol:

Hi Guys and Girls

Things have been posted which should have been deleted but give poor Admin a chance; I am out of the country for a couple of weeks with little or no internet access and it is a big ask for someone to monitor CyProb and the General Section as well as the general overseeing of the Forum.

As Admin says, complain to him if unsuitable postings appear.

Please, Lana, we need full time babysitters for all the folks that can't handle reading something they don't like from time to time. Perhaps all entries could require several iterations of admin approval prior to being posted? This way, admins could check for spelling and grammatical errors in addition to making sure that posts are plain vanilla and thoroughly uninteresting. A second admin could do fact-checking so that there wouldn't be any need for dialogue. Somebody would have their entry posted (after several approvals, of course), and then there would be no need to discuss it because it would be true...

Then, most would go to other MBs and commence their winging there, at which point normal order can be restored here. Think about it - we wouldn't have to hear the following any longer:

1. WAH - Admin, those two guys are fighting!

2. WAH! Admin, somebody said a curse word!

3. WAH! Admin, why can't you enforce the rules?!

4. WAH! I've reported you to Admin!

Etc, etc. Happy days indeed, no?:lol:
