Go ahead Bananiot, i never said you couldn't. If you had read my post carefully, i was implying that TCs had a right of say regarding anything that happens in cyprus. I was responding to cymart, because he has recently come on stream to stir things (aka shit stirrer) and then he wants to sell up and go. Well he should go now, why does he need to spoil it for the rest of us first?

We all have opinions, and rightly so, but i cannot stomach people like cymart that have NO interest in my country but only to be able to sellup his GC wifes property so he can go. That is not an opinion, that is the act of treason, you chose to live in cyprus and now you want to harm the very country you are in so YOU can get back what you think you will get from varosha, sell up and leave.

Has it ever occured to you (cymart) that even if there was such an angreement, there is nothing to say that Turkey would stick to her side of the bargain. She has shown time and time again that she cannot be trusted and there is no one that can force her neither. You are living in a dream world.

And, I would also point out that the statement made earlier could easily be read thus :

How people like this guy and a few others keep accusing me of being here for the money etc!If I wanted to earn a lot of money I could work in many other countries and make far more than I do here...
The truth is that by favouring partition,he is on the side of the people here who are doing well now with no change in the status-quo,and just like Papad. who has nothing to discuss other than the long defunct Annan Plan,he keeps attacking anyone such as myself and Bananiot who dare to question his mis-guided logic!The kind of language used by this guy suggests he has serious personal problems and is probably one of the type of Cypriots described by Yiangos Mikellides,who defines it as the superiority/inferiority complex.......for example, who condemns modern women as whores,but secretly visit the cabaret to buy temporary relief from their screwed-up feelings!
I actually feel quite sorry for these kind of people as they have been responsible for many of the terrible events during the islands history and blindly followed the forces of darkness.
My wifes family are very decent and respectable people,but they also desperately want things in Cyprus to change and for that to happen we need a new leadership.They also don't want to live in a country which is run by people whose minds are poisoned by the past and are still imprisoned in it!That's why they have not returned here....
