How do you know where someone comes from? Where in Cyprus is Morphou located? Is it located near Paphos? Near Famagusta? Near Kyrenia? Or is Morphou located near Nicosia or up in the Troodos Mountains?
Although I have lived in Wellington since 1996,I still have a very strong identification with my home town of Wanganui.My family & I are a fiercely independent breed of people.Early last year,there was a proposal to institute a Wanganui regional anniversary day.I put in a submission on my family's behalf to the Wanganui District Council to declare my strong support.I also even suggested a date - 26th. of September,which was formerly marked as Dominion Day.I also stated in my submission that there is a very strong case for Wanganui to be declared an independent entity as a British colony,as successive New Zealand governments betrayed the people of Wanganui.

Where in Cyprus is Morphou located? Precisely. You know virtually nothing about Cyprus yet want to lecture Cypriots about their own country. Then you get surprised when they turn vicious!
