I am not 100% sure but many years ago people went to such people to tell their coffee cup/ fortune. Today many people scam others in obtaining large amounts of money to tell someones fortune or make spells go away.

It against the law to make a living from such a profession. (I am sure that she does not pay tax on this profession... so she can get done from tax invasion.

If you want to know further on this subject, send 100 pounds by the end of the year or 171 euros... hehehe

Have I helped you ? Hope so :?

Maybe obtaining money under false pretences. Trade Description Act (do they have that in Cyprus?)

I remember years ago when i was a small child my mum still had this uncle that was a "MAGOS" or male witch i suppose you would call him in english and he was well respected in cyprus he was actually quite famous and people went from miles around to be whatever he did done to them! i remember he lived in a really creapy old house with loads of stuff all over the place like dolls hanging from their heads and all that i guess it was like black magic and stuff, anyway the point i`m trying to make is that cypriots did believe in this kind of crap

OK I found it: Pretending to exercise witcher or tells fortunes

Any person who for gain or reward pretends to exercise or use any kind of witchcraft, sorcery, enchantment, or conjuration, or undertakes to tell fortunes, or pretends from his skill or knowledge in any occult science to discover where or in what manner anything supposed to be stolen or lost may be found, is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable to imprisonment for one year. (Sec 304, Cap 154 of the criminal code of the Cyprus Laws)

Now this is what the law states... what can be proven in a court of law, is sometimes a different story.

You dont have to thank me... just crown me your legal adviser hehehe

A bloke (always a man) dressed in black, comes out of a building (built by others, but claimed by him) fresh from lighting some candles and says 'Follow me into the church/mosque/temple and you'll get forgiveness/paradise/everlasting life."

This happens everyday for thousands of years and few are those who cry 'fraud'. Today, far from the police coming to help you should you name the fraud and the fraudster, they'd probably do you for 'religious intolerance'.

Hmm ~ only practising eh ~~ when do you blossom into a fully fledged protestrant then ~ going of your previous posts that achievement could just about tip you over the edge

Must be fun being a choir boy at your church then aidan ~ especially with your apparent preoccupation with everybody wanking ~ I certainly wouldn't have sent my kids to your church

It's sad ~ so very sad ~~~~the way the various religions can get hold of people and turn them into twisted and intolerant monsters
