Non-smokers?

How can I call myself a Non-Smoker when all the smokers around me in the public are forcing me to smoke? Do I have the choice to be a Non-Smoker?

However, you'r right IcyNoAngel :D , I personally have never knowingly smoked tobacco (or anything else for that matter) in my life. Not because I am better or smarter than those who do smoke, but simply because I am allergic to Nicotine (Tobacco smoke). It makes me very sick (COPD), but I must deal with it and live with it!!

Aidan.

You are right, smoke from Marijuana has a distinctive but terrible odor; however there is no Nicotine in it. Also, It's the user (smoker) himself/herself who is largely affected (good and bad) by chemicals from the Marijuana.

Take alcohol for instance. When people drink strong liquors around you, it goes straight into THEIR body system and only the smell (bad breath) could eventually indispose you. And after a heavy drinking, if they crash in their bed to sleep it off instead of driving a car and put other people's lives in danger, it is THEIR liver and brain cells alone that will be destroyed, not OURS.

But, with Tobacco Smoke, Non-smokers do not have much choice. Although new laws are being implemented to protect Second-hand Smokers, many Countries (such as France and Japan) are not strictly enforcing them. Fortunately, a few Countries were able to successfully impose "ZERO TOLERANCE" rules, hence healthier environment for everyone.

Not yet! I have not been in Cyprus yet. My Family is living in Paphos and they have been inviting me to visit; so next year I am planning to go there. Because of the people smoking almost everywhere in Cyprus, I guess I wont go out much to discover how beautiful this Island is!

In Pissouri? Is it worth a visit - for the food, not just the non-smoking?
