Propose Papadopoulos for Peace Prize . . .

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

This thread would have been more suitable in Jokes section :lol: :lol: :lol:

They don't award them to morons either. TPap qualifies on both counts.

Since when have either of you two had your opinions sway justifiable proposals? :roll:

The facts speak for themselves. The Nobel committee award independently of biased politics.

Papadopoulos has averted long-term disaster and he is on the road to finalising perpetual peace for Cyprus.

If we can remove the Turkish troops soon, Turkey will never be allowed to carry out anything like this again, in the type of Global politics we are moving towards.

What a moron you are Phoenix, you are the biggest joke on the forum.

Papadopoulos has already eliminated the biggest threat to everlasting peace on Cyprus by removing the Annan Plan from the agenda.

That is reason enough for him to be nominated for this prestigious prize.

If he is re-elected I am sure he will continue to envelope the EU into removing the Turkish Troops from Cyprus. That would fulfill the above criteria 100%.

. . . Papadopoulos deserves the Nobel Peace Prize! :D

Which planet do you live on?....man you have lost the plot :lol:

What "plot" have the Turk-TCs planned for us now to keep us forever defending ourselves?

What do any Turk-TCs understand about Peace?

It is because of nations like Turkey that we have to stay vigilant in our lives instead of being free to develop as Human beings.

If only because the President has profound idiots like Talat to deal with, then he deserves a Prize.

Did GCs have anything to do with events that caused 1974? Think long and hard as this will reveal to TCs a great deal about how GCs see the past and the future.

Vp, calling Phoenix a moron because she doesn't agree with your self-intersest is downright childish. Whats even more childish is talking against a legal government that does everything by the book that your still throwing threats to with stolen land.

Growup do you read her posts? please spare us all the unquestionable support for a self confessed provocoter, her posts are delivered in such a manner as provoke and verbally abuse others, its just a little of her own medicine thrown back at her. I never see you step in when she is attacking TCs why is that?

Commenting on evaluations that the year 2008 will be "the year of the Cyprus problem”, President Papadopoulos said that the Cyprus problem, as long as it remains unsolved, should continue to preoccupy the international public opinion and that we should try with all our power so that every initiative available to us can become the beginning of substantive talks for the solution of the Cyprus problem.

"Substantive talks" must include all parties so if all parties are prepared to give it a go whats wrong with that! So c,mon folks lets get this mess sorted in fairness to all Cypriots.Forget us Brits and the rest, our time is over yours is to come.
My folks used to hate the Germans, no doubt many of them hated us,now look at us-all buddies in the EU
The words of a Bob Dylan song come to mind,something to do with "times" and "changing"

Good luck

@utu
Will they do what?

@Mowman
I wouldn't exactly describe the UK and Germany as "buddies" in the EU . . . even tolerating each other is done under duress.

Despite this, WWII ended with removal of German troops from Poland, Greece etc.

But the Turkish troops are presently in occupation of Cyprus and unless the rest of Europe ally with us to remove them, they ain't going of their own accord.

So bring on those changing times and lets actively remove them, for the sake of long-term peace.

And what's your definition of peace, Madam Xenophobe: peacefully taking out your rifle and shooting every non-Greek in Cyprus without being interrupted by any outsider?

If you take your blinkers off, and read my posts you would see that I am indeed a pacifist and my idea of "actively remove" centres on exerting strong economic pressure and exclusion from the world stage both for the "TRNC" and Turkey.

I have never supported war, guns, arms. I beg you to find a post where I have said otherwise.

But of course you wouldn't know because you have made your mind up about what I am because you are only acquainted with stereotypes.
