I might say that it's diabetes, but I have no experience. I don't know about aids, he must know if he did smth or not in the past ... so, that's why I wanted to get this guy to get a blood test so he can get well... and we can start to party again.

I suspect the subject is aware of his diabetes. Blood Glucose Meters are readily available in the North. They only cost about £7. I send a dozen a year to be distributed and the test strips are available from Pharmacists.
In the North you have a Path Lab on almost every street corner. Surely theres no shortage in the south, esp if the health services are allegedly better.
