The information flow from the south is not always correct and distorted to project the desired conclusion.

One would be ignorant to beleive that this is not the case anywhere in the world, not just in RoC .... so what do the "north" press say about it then?

that he was unable to get his property back, some even say he was paid off because he was causing RoC bad publicity.

maybe you should reserve your "some say" posts for the Gossip section of this forum.

either way if this is true he should have fought for his property back. i would like more information on this though. did the RoC pay him off for good meaning he cant ever get his property back or was he paid off until a solution is found in which case he would be entitled back his property.

I would like you to say the same thing for the Greek Cypriots who applied to the European Court of Justice for the return of their properties in North.

"some say" ?

Perhaps the "pay off" was compensation he was offered in place of his home ? Perhaps this Perhaps that. Until we can find the facts then it is all unknown. This is how mis-truths become "reality" as people discuss unknowns, draw their own conclusions and then re-tell the story with their conclusion as the truth. Not just in Cyprus but worldwide in case anyway with a chip on their shoulder gets worried i`m TC bashing !!!

BigDutch I did mention from the outset that the information flow on this issue was hazy and therefore not clear cut as we would all wish.
