I don't know, I got this silly rule were I don't take paracetamol or aspirin and I also don't go to the doctor unless I am going to die or something.

It started in the neck, my voice hurt a little. Then it went upwards to my nose and my ears. My ears hurt as if they got ear infection and my nose can't breath. Ye, my bones are starting to hurt, they keep cracking when I turn my neck. My head feels stuffy too. People tell me it's the flu but I don't know, it might be.

Ok Sega you are going to die... Go to the doctor. He will help you to feel better and enjoy your Christmas. Take your friend with you too.

Man.. take my advice. Is not realted to pils. Get a hot shower. Put some hot water into something (I don't know the name in english), add some salt in it (add some more salt in it) and keep your feet in the water as much as you can handle, be careful not to burn yourself. Meanwhile drink a hot tea. Then have a good night sleep. That should make you a little better.
One paracetamol in this ecuation I've told you can make you as new the next morning. Trust me on this one.

There's also a solution like sanitary alcohol, (but different  ) that you can get a massage with, and after that you get as many clothes on you as you can and get into bed, as it makes you very hot, and this is the ideea too, to sweat and get the cold out of your body. After you sweat a lot, you change your clothes and go to sleep in a warm room. That makes you better in no time. I've searched for half an hour the name in english of this ... but didn't find the name :(

Well the dreaded Cyprus sickness has hit the house monster ( the wife ) ~ we have only been back a week and it looks like shes dying of something nasty  .

Same symptoms as you sega but as she is old and miserable she complains more :( .

Everybody we know seems to have someone in the family that's come down with something nasty ~~ lets hope it goes away soon ~ before I end up with it.

I am hoping the Christmas spirit would do the trick, but I don't think I am going to a doctor. It has to be life-threatening to go to a doctor and even then I have to be sure there is no alternative. If I am still ill by the 20th I will go to the chemists and see what they have for me.

Sega, a doctor can't hurt you. Though, they can make some tests and say their opinion, even in most cases they don't even know what they are talking about. But going to 3 or more different doctors (known as trustfull) you might get an idea what's wrong if they say approximately the same thing. If not.. that's not good.
Everytime I got sick... nobody knew what I had, they prescribe sometihng just to see if I will feel better. And as I did, they said they were right. I wonder... if I would have died what would they say? Probably that they were wrong... but "only" this time

It's trial and error for most doctors, I agree with you totally. The probability of subscribing the correct medicene is very low and each mistake comes with side effects which go against your health.
