Can someone advise when white tuna fishing will start ? Is it true that this year it has been a massacre here in Cyprus ? Is it worth going fishing, given the price of petrol ?

u need a license now + i think its allowed only for few months a year... i been tuna finishing more than 10 years ago where we had no restrictions. I might wanna check Marine & Fisherie Department website (if they have any)

Cypriots eat tuna? Never met anyone who would eat fish with pink flesh, they thought I was weird for doing so.

I never seen a Cypriot who doesn't eat tuna... infact we went fishing once and ate tuna right on the boat (80ft yaught actually), raw tuna + wassabi and soy sauce.
