As everyone seems to switch from Whisky, Vodka to more "cultural" drinks like wine, I think it is a good thing and we can see a lot of wine shops flourishing everywhere ! Trendy is not it ?!
One of them I would like to recommend is French Depot, 17 Spyrou Kyprianou in Linopetra ( next to Carrefour ) or also in Lefkosia on 53 Kennedy Avenue. Great wines ( French wines only and directly imported from local producers), excellent pricing ( starting at CY£ 3.50 for a nice red Bordeaux up to CY£ 1,200+ for Petrus...waow ! ). Enjoy in Linopetra shop a fantastic French atmosphere ! To discover !!! :D

About time we got off that beer kick we inherited from the British! Wine is our home grown drink and if we get some from France so much the better. If things turn out like they did in Greece {French wine is a LOT less costly than Greek wine) then you people are in for a good time!
