Hello Folks, I am pleased to be back among you all once again and hope to find you all in good health and happy.

Sorry to learn of miltiades's decision to withdraw from the forum on account of some unpleasant personal attack by another member, perhaps we may all benefit by understanding that such abuse is unacceptable in a civilized society, (dare we claim to be part of such ?).

I would strongly urge miltiades to reconsider his decision, such action will only deprive him of the pleasure he no doubt experiences from joining the various discussions here.

Best Wishes to you all, I have been informed that my stay here will not be as long as I had envisaged, the next two weeks will determine whether I will be able to spend Christmas here (as I had hoped) or elsewhere.

To miltiades, (if he is viewing the forum) I would offer the opinion that he should rise above the insults he has received, they are detrimental to the author, NOT the recipient.

In my humble opinion of course.

I am sooo pleased, but I wish you had made your presence known just 10 minutes earlier and I would not have erred with using a bad word (only my second time).

If you had not been away (so long ), I could have carried on being sweet. So it's all your fault.

Still you are here now . . . albeit it briefly . . . and all is right with the World again (weeell .... forum!).

Militiades anger is ,
his respondent writing is blocked by admin and other one let it to go . If there is a censorship it should be for everybody . he and his ill wive insulted . It wasn't fair .
he views the forum some times . I noticed him this morning .

phoenix, thank you for your very charming welcome, you bolster my ego somewhat by indicating that I somehow manage to influence your use of bad language.

I am sure my comments on this forum do (at times) carry some weight in highlighting the fact that insult and foul language are unacceptable in WRITTEN exchanges, in general conversation, such use may be overlooked (providing it is not too pervasive) but certainly not allowed to go unchecked.

The actions of 'miltiades' illustrate the damage inflicted by the lack of civility in communication between members.

As to my adventures, I am sure they would be of great interest to many, unfortunately, my experiences would also attract a certain amount of controversy and I feel that I may become too focal.

There are certain duties I must attend to immediately, I do not have the time to respond fully at the moment, I will do so subsequent to the fulfilment of those pressing duties.

Hello Lana. A few months back I had sent Miltiades a few PMs. Unless he tells me to the contrary, my PMs were also 'blocked' or gone astray.
