Rubik Cube

Postby IcyNoAngel » Mon Dec 10, 2007 12:13 pm

I was wondering if there is a place in Cyprus where I can find a 3x3x3 rubik cube to buy.
Any idea will be greatly appreciated. 8)

Hi,

You can find them in Jumbo. Just purchased for stocking stuffers.

Thanks, I've been to Jumbo but didn't see them. I'll go again, most probably today. :D

I went to Jumbo, found only 2x2 cube. Are you talking about the Limassol Jumbo or is there another Jumbo somewhere else?

P.S. I'm looking for 3x3 or 4x4 cube.

Yes I can. I've got the 2x2 yesterday and today I've mastered it.
I have to find the 3x3. I am relly bored. :(

I am going to make a tutorial for 2x2, it's realy easy when you get the idea.
For 3x3 I cannot really say, I will see if I discover it. First I have to find it, I had one when I was a child.... 8)

I will go to Nicosia on Saturday just for this. :D

Can you tell me some direction to find Jumbo in Nicosia, I have a map, just say the road or something if you knoiw. Thanks.

Hi Icy,

From the Highway, take the first Strovolos turnoff. Its the first exit after the gootball stadium on the left. You'll turn left at the sliproad/roundabout. Keep going straight. If you pass Orfanides on your left, you are going in the right direction. Keep going straight, quite a way up, you'll come to a roundabout with a CyTA exchange there. Go straight over the roundabout and keep going straight. Next roundabout you'll see Metro on your left. Again go straight over and Jumbo is on your right. To get to it, you have to go to the next roundabout and do a full circle on it so you are coming back on yourself.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Hazza.
Bubbles, I don't know if you really need a mathematical brain to solve a rubik cube, it's all about the moves you have to make to solve it. If you can remember what you have to do you can do it really fast.
Anybody with enough patience or someone that is really bored can do it, eventualy.

As for my mathematical brain you are right, but that doesn't count on this matter. :D :D :D
