Lex,

In Greece you could call your soup joint "sou'pa moupes" would not work in Cypriot though, the "p" would be too heavy!

 Lena mou, buy a can, I do, so much easier. Heinz and Campbell's have a good variety

I do not make much soup, Webbo makes a better one, so I let him! My father, rest his soul, used to make a great ham and pea soup. He used to use a ham shank (SHANK!!!) but I cannot find them over here :( Anyone help out?
Cheers

For some reason I hate cans. I use only tuna cans and chopped tomato cans. Thats it. The rest is fresh or frozen.

My faves are:

Yayla Soup/Yogurt Soup: If no one has tried this soup then I suggest they get the ingredients and make it because it is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!

Humous Soup: It's like a tradition for most TCs to go into Nicosia after clubbing to have some.

Tarana Soup: Need I say more?!?!?

Ezogelin: Just a standard no frills yet tasty soup. :D
