Phoenix & VP you guys need to take a chill pill. Come on guys the problem with Cyprus is that both lots have taken the victim role. We can do if we want too.

VP I am not an exception by far. When recently in Cyprus I was disgusted by the attitude of some Cypriots who speak Greek. Their fears were mainly around the drug and their easy availability to their children, the Cabarets in the occupied area (though not such a huge problem) and the casinos (primarily targeting Greek speaking Cypriots who go and play at the casinos).

Most Cypriots that I spoke to don't really give a hoot, about Turkish speaking Cypriots in any way shape or form, they are too busy making money and creating wealth than anything else. Which annoyed the hell out of me because it was like hello and welcome and is there money to be made in Australia?

Many people infact and primarily shop owners who a couple of times asked me if I was Turkish speaking Cypriot because of my accent, comented possitively towards the Turkish speaking compatriot. An old man who sells shoes near the Mosque in Palio Thimarhio, he encouraged e to go to Xero and visit our old village, he said to me go you will like it. There are mainly Turkish speaking Cypriots and they have maintained the vilage and sure enough we were pleased about the state of our familial home.

Another man and his wife they have a jewlery store on Ledra Street just a couple of shop up from divide, they too had positive things to say and the list goes on.

Thei fear was around the settlers, Turkification of Cyprus and selling off of their land.

VP its all good man. I have faith and hope that we will one day live together in peace and I will be able to buy a polt of land at Gionelli ;) may be you will come around for coffee and chat about the days of the Cyprus forum :)

Drugs and gambilng, all types of addictions are big concerns all over the world not just here on the island...You are an optimistic person by naure and obvious that you are a person who tries to see the glass half full rather than half empty. Me on the other hand am a realist who lives in the TRNC and can see first hand exactly how things stand which is taking us closer and closer towards agreed division which is what I have been predicting since the AP when it was the end of unificaiton for me. I realized there is no magic plan that will make both sides commit, so the only real option is to allow both sides a level playing field where each side are equals and Cypriots can roam and settle where ever they wish either in a GC or TC state.

Why not? don't you want to read what the real voice of GCs have to say and try to understand why we are justified in our concerns. Ignore the verbal abuse today and you will pay with much more in the future. Is that where you want to take us humanist by closing your eyes to what we can clearly see?

I am neither greek nor cypriot and would rather stand by those "racist fuckers" that you earlyer mentionned than stand by a coward pussy like you.

The above are Belenos own words VP. Is he Cypriot/GC/Greek.

Phoenix mou, always the agent provocateur.

I have a theory about you, if I may elaborate.

I think you once had a Turkish or Turkish Cypriot lover and you fell out and he dumped you. Now you blame everything Turkish for your pains. You find fit to provoke all and sundry who fall into this category. Am I right or am I right?

I hate that man who has made you suffer, now we have to pick up the pieces.

Almost . . . he was Turkish, and really beautiful and intelligent  . . . . it was like Romeo and Juliet, feuding tribes etc. All very romantic and VERY innocent. . . but I went off to Uni and we lost touch. I think he went back to Turkey in which case I fear he may have met a sad end because he was really anti-Turkish. :(

We used to joke that his ancestors were probably Greek having been abducted by Turks, such as was their habit.

Deniz did you receive much training in getting confessions out of people? :?

Ha ha ha what a life .......................

I think he is my uncle ...................... here is delayed card ..............

Viewpoint take the log out of your eyes. You've gone from bad to worse. Maybe you are also deaf . . . there is no moment of truth!

Everybody already knows what the Turks have done to the GCs. Only fools would expect us to say nothing about your atrocities.

If you are sensitive, then DON'T go around supporting the illegalities of Turkey, and no one will say anything bad about you, OK? :D

If fighting for survival is supporting illegalities then all well and good I do not have a problem you do. You must know and if you dont Im telling you that you empitomize and confirm that TCs are warranted in their concern about the mentality of GCs that claim Cyprus is Greek and nothing else. This does not bode well in a united island as people like you who I believe are the majority will ensure we are put in our place as second class citizens in a GC state run by GCs. Thank god for division as long as you continue with your warped mindset Cyprus will remain divided, thank you for telling the truth.

Don't get above yourself VP, you pleb. You have stolen the Cypriots' land so you are a thief. . . . not a second class citizen.

Your felonious crimes have removed you from any place in decent society.

I can run rings round you Deniz, just for my own amusement. :D

But I am glad you confirm by your belief that a Turk could hate Turkey so much that he could fall victim to the barbaric anti-Turkishness Laws.

You have let me know that you accept this evil as normality  . . . embedded in your psyche.

You cannot steal what is already yours, plus you have 63% of what was once mine.

A second class citizen is what I would be in a GC state run by GCs.

If survival is a crime then Im guilty.

VP I was just saying what people's concerns are. In terms of racism towards Cypriots of a Turkish lingistic background, I don't think its such an issue. Perhaps you need to visit the RoC more often and get the idea. I think it is inevitable about agreed partition. I also think that would be the gravest mistake for Cyprus and all Cypriots.

What I would like to hear from the Turkish speaking Cypriots to try and understand is why sooo much resistance to being called a Cypriot just a Cypriot and be proud of that rather than a Turkish Cypriot.

For T_C ...... mate you are sounding more like the people your ostracizing liek phoenix. Am also getting a bit jacked off by your coments around the Greek invasion, once again The Turkish gun kille d my uncle get it through your head. I have tried to be patient but now its becoaming insulting. Yes I know it is my issue and I have to deal with it. Perhaps that is how I can elevate myself to becoming a better person. thank you for giving me the opportunity to self reflect.
