Almost . . . he was Turkish, and really beautiful and intelligent . . . . it was like Romeo and Juliet, feuding tribes etc. All very romantic and VERY innocent. . . but I went off to Uni and we lost touch. I think he went back to Turkey in which case I fear he may have met a sad end because he was really anti-Turkish.
We used to joke that his ancestors were probably Greek having been abducted by Turks, such as was their habit.
