No, it's just Rumsfeld mouthing off as usual. He's peeved because his 'master plan' to use as few troops as possible in Iraq has ultimately been proved wrong. Hence why he blames the failure to invade from the north for the insurrections that have taken and continue to take place on a daily basis. I don't think we should read anything into this, Turkey is still THE key US ally in the region (apart from those lovers of peace and freedom Saudi Arabia and, of course Israel

... not anti-semitic, just by virtue of my personal experience of that state). So I don't see this as a major schism, at least until the US can rely on a stable Iraq as its new best friend in the Middle East.
