I wasn't even given the chance to reply to Zan's post with all those millions of sites describing Turkey's abuses which I've now gathered . . .
Still they will have their uses
Google at the ready.....Take three paces, turn and fire........You can amuse yourself if you like liddle darlin......I'm gonna ride on over that hill and light myself a fire to warm my feet.
Don't sit too close, you'll get shingles!

And I, dear Eliko, must assume you know the background history to the flag in your avatar. From your eloquent manner of speech I'd be sorely disappointed if you not only turned out an advocator of Cuba's ongoing "human rights abuses, including torture, arbitrary imprisonment, unfair trials, and extra-judicial executions" but also a hypocrite
As for the solution for marijuana, there is no right or wrong answer, it comes down to where you stand on the liberty vs. nanny-state line. The "make it illegal and send them to jail" approach, should be obvious to everyone, isn't working otherwise the per capita heroin overdose rate would not be higher in Limassol than Amsterdam. I agree hard drug use isn't acceptable with all the addicts and crackwhores destroying the fabric of society committing violent crimes and spreading diseases but we need a new approach. Sticking them in cages? Feels like we're still back in the medieval ages. We need to put our thinking caps on and come up with new and radical solutions, especially since we've formed such a huge economic, political geographic union for the sake of pooling ideas together to improve our future.
