Eliko wrote:GorillaGal, what a delightful response you have made, what with you and your talking cat and I with mine, we could tour the world and make a fortune.

The only drawback would appear to be that you do not consider MY cat to be as clever as I have claimed, are you sure about the 'covering of tracks' bit ?, my cat actually LEFT tracks after it had finished the covering up process.

yes eliko, i am quiet sure your cat was doing what only comes natural to it, to prevent it's enimies from finding him (her?).

my smart cat who can talk died a few years ago. now that was the smartest cat ever! once i was telling her something, and she replied with "I Know!". you can't beat that for a smart cat!

GorillaGal, the reason why MY cat left tracks behind it was certainly not the result of anything natural, the heavy wheels of the J.C.B. it used to dig and fill the hole, sank into the soft ground surrounding the location as he drove the machine back to the building site from whence he borrowed it.

(seem to remember we discussed this phenomenon some time ago !)

phoenix, thank you for your apparent appreciation of my silly joke, I would have responded sooner were it not for the fact that I received a rather deflating phonecall, I am now in a state of readiness to leave Cyprus once again at 'the drop of a hat, it is a little perplexing to be in such a situation, particularly at this time of the year.

I doubt if I will be here for more than a few more days, my absence will certainly see the new year in, I envy the likes of cyprusgrump and IcyNoAngel etc, who will no doubt be imbibing obscene quantities of the devil's brew whilst I will have to make do with the occasional drop of brandy.

Nonetheless, I will not depart without wishing all members the compliments of the season (if I am allowed the time to do so) perhaps I should extend my good wishes sooner than is usual, we shall see.

Thank you for your good humour and my apologies to GorillaGal who fell victim to my silly scam.

I say 9, Lena says 7.

Hell, just to prove a point, I even have her on number 9 on my speed dial on my phone.

What point are you trying to prove? That Lena is a cat?!?!?

I fund out that cats can cause problems to women and especially pregnant. Hair from a cat can transform the baby and can make it look like a cat. Rabbit hairs too.

Anyway as far as I know, through my aunt, the nuns do take care the cats and get (limited) offers from citizens. I am not sure how much they get fed or how often.

Do you really believe this?? I am amazed! Sounds like some kind of witchcraft or voodoo.

Cat fur does not cause problems for pregnant women, the faeces might if they have a trace of toxiplasmosis. This virus could not live outside the body and it certainly doesn't make the baby look like a cat, it can cause blindness.

I know, I had cats when I was pregnant. Unpasteurised cheese has the same problem.

I might said it wrong Niki mou but what i know from 7 years ago and what I looked at the internet was that this virus can cause disfigure of the infant's head, cause mental problems, deafness etc etc. And according to that article i was reading the other day, even if the baby is born without any problem, has to be under observation by doctors in case somethings change after the birth or something like that. My English in medical terms are so crap. Sorry.
