Yes Lena, the monastery is run by nuns and they also rely on visitors to feed their pussys.

True but as far as I know they do feed them. My aunt told me that they have people that take things for the cats to the monastery. She loves that monastery.

That is correct, but they seemed so desperate that if you notice well in the clip, one of them was actually eating a tomato.
BTW they all looked like they came from the same family, half of them were all black and the other half were striped.

As I told you Kafenes... is my aunt that goes often up there not me. Dont really know much about those cats and i am not a big lover of them...since my mum was pregnant my brother. I fund out that cats can cause problems to women and especially pregnant. Hair from a cat can transform the baby and can make it look like a cat. Rabbit hairs too.

Anyway as far as I know, through my aunt, the nuns do take care the cats and get (limited) offers from citizens. I am not sure how much they get fed or how often.

lena, it is something in the cat feces that is bad for pregnant ladies, not the fur. pregnant ladies just should not scoop or change kitty litter. actually, cats are very useful to society, and it suprises me that more people don't like them, but then there are alot of people with control issues out there, and just don't like the independence and gracefulness of a cat. anyway, can you imagine a world without cats? we would be overrun with snakes and rodents.

I do not disagree with you GG. I dont want the world without cats, but dont want them as my pets. Personally love dogs but the whole issue made me keep my distance from cats.

The doctor said that the problem comes from their fur, cats and rabbits fur.

You actually made me look it up in the internet. It can be caused from the the cats from their excrements, fur and mouth. From what I know cats hate water and they wash them selves by licking their body. Thats how the virus can go to their fur. And the whole thing can cause millions of things and less dangerous is what i knew. Thats why my mum was crying back then.

My mum dont have any allergy by the way and you dont need to have allergy for that.

please site the link you got that information from. i have owned cats longer than you have been alive, i have worked in pet shelters, and i work in the pet industry, and i have never heard of such a thing. i know they shed something in thier feces which is why pregnant women should stay away from kitty litter boxes.
perhaps things are different in a country such as cyprus where the pets aren't taken care of as well as they are here. but i have NEVER heard of anything in thier fur that is dangerous, other than the dander tha causes allergiees.

The Cypriot viper, the blunt nose viper is not venomous and should not be killed. I think it's a protected species.
