Most of the presents i will get is for kids so it will be toys.

But I need to buy to family and friends as well and that will cost a small fortune.

 Err… haven’t they told you yet? :?

Lena, take a deep breath and prepare for the worse for there is no Santa Claus! :(

Please be strong...

To my little brothers, well a PS3 game is in order.

Read some reviews on PS3. Just search on www.google.com; as much as I know PS3 has this bad thing: most of the PS2 games (almost all of them) do not work on PS3. I would rather go for PS2 instead, it's much easier to find games. (XBox is cheaper though... but PS2 I think has a better rank based on users reviews). Hope this helps.

That is if you are refering to PlayStation, of course.

I'm searching for a rubik cube. I've already opened a new thread on this... but if anyone knows where I can find it, can just say it here.
That's all I'm buying this year, I'm too far from home, familly and friends... my luck, huh? 8)

Ye I know, my brothers bought the old PS3, 60GB version. They bought it refurbished. So far I have not had compatibility problems. I think it might be the new PS3 that has the problems, apparently I don't think it can play any PS2 games. That is what I was told.

Thanks for the advice, personally I agree with what you said. Since they already have the PS3 I might as well get them a game.

I thought that was my family tradition, is it a tradition or a Greek-Cypriot thing?

Why isn't it happening on Christmas Eve? What relation is between Christmas presents and New Year? I see none.

No I have friends that open presents during Christmas.

Some families believe on that tradition that as presents were given for the birth of Jesus, we give presents too the one we love.

In my family we do not give presents during that day but we spend the day as family. Christmas for us is more family related.

During New Year we exchange presents because Santa Claus bring them... and we spend it with friends too or as usual family first and friends around one. This year my New Year will be the best one   I cannot wait until then.

Is more like living the fairy tale of the Santa Claus.

If you have kids you will see the difference. I think last year was the last time that my brother believed (kind of you cannot actually cheat on him) that there is Santa Claus but this year he is nearly 7 dont think that will bite that.
