Does the TC community have any legal right to complain?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Does the TC community have any legal right to complain?

Do you ever get annoyed when a convicted criminal writes a letter to a state Governor or other politician asking for clemency or an early release? Well, that’s exactly how I feel seeing this letter being sent to MP Theresa Villiers by the TC group “Embargoed”, and by various other measures the TC community takes while being in total disregard of international law.

Make no mistake, the TC community is a willing accessory to Turkey’s international illegalities and in total disrespect of United Nations resolutions yet it sees fit to request a range of things from politicians and in particular RECOGNITION under an array of guises from the UN; the very organization it has no respect for!!!

They say that if you spend enough time with criminals you too will adopt their ways so is this a case of a people who have parlayed with criminal Turkey far too long to the point of no return?

Does the TC community have any legal right to complain and/or request favors from various bodies from around the world and can they ever adjust and settle down in short notice under a democratic and law-abiding EU state with no rehabilitation whatsoever despite their seemingly evolved juvenile delinquent “TRNC” attitude?

Regards, GR.

Yeah you are absolutely right, we should just shut up and accept our fate of being prisoners in our own lands because of someone else's wrong doings, i guess i was just born in an unlucky era that's all.

GR, you talk about the UN's resolutions, Yet your country's government attacks the UN Secretary-General for his commenting on the unfairness of the isolations imposed on the Turkish Cypriots. If you say that Turkey has no respect for the UN, what kind of signal does the attack on the Sec-Gen signal?

Why don't you reverse the question and ask...

What kind of a UN Secretary-General is this wanking moon fellow if he doesn't even know that the very organization he is meant to lead has ALREADY decided on the gross violation of Cypriot human rights by Turkey's July 1974 invasion/occupation, in which 200k odd people were ethnically cleansed from their 10,000 year old ancestral lands and homes?

Is there a deal hidden in the lines of the posts here? Something like we lift the isolation and the other side removes all wrongs certified by the UN (and the EU and the ECHR) since 1974? Things like forced expulsion of the population, colonization, denial of property enjoyment, denial of access to places of worship etc. If so then we are talking at last!

Return to the legal and fully signed Zurich agreement and stop your criminal behavior and then you can complain about us....Murder rape and oppression are the tools of your trade and then your murdering leader tricks the Un and the Eu with Greece backing you all the way. When you learn about legality then you can question our intent. W have bee held under siege since 1963 and our constitution violated....Time to pay back and lift the embargoes.....The "RoC" was formed through the tricks of the Akritas Plan and is not the Cyprus Republic of the 1960 agreement. It is illegal.
