Rain in Cyprus at last!
"The Archbishop Christostomos II was right. Prayers bring rain. The drought that had weighed upon Cyprus for four years, over which it virtually never rained, ended this week-end", explains the daily. Surely a day of rain does not mean the drought is over!!!

It's pissed down here in the UK virtually every day for the last couple of weeks .

I'm flying back on Friday and what's going to greet me when I arrive ~~ Rain ~ forecast for the entire weekend ~~ Aren't I lucky .

If I meet one of those bishops in the street I'm going to kick him in the nuts.

Whether it rains or not or they pray or not, the two are not connected.
So wherein lies the confusion?

The causal connection between praying and rain. How can you tell that if they did not pray it would rain?
