All together now...

White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the tree tops glisten and the children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

Surely you are Lena. To me at least. You were the first person to greet me with an invitation for a cup of Cyprus Coffee.
I am still waiting for that day.

I really can't see the point myself! All the disruption for what?

In the UK they said it was because of the farmers in the north of Scotland who needed that extra hour light in the morning. :? What's Cyprus' excuse?

I was simplifying for the benefit of those not as au fait with local terminology as GR! :D

For the benefit of Bananiot I think Iceland may be the only one that does not do the one hour back and forth thing.

Where and when is GMT observed?
GMT is used all year in these European countries
Iceland
GMT is used during winter only in these European countries
Ireland
United Kingdom - main islands
England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland
